Cara's story is simple.
She grew up in a rural area and attended a three-room school that taught the basics: reading, writing and arithmetic. She discovered in her late twenties that she had a passion for using her voice, and has, for over the past 30 years, enjoyed entertaining and moving people with her singing.
Cara has also taught at the University of Missouri, directed choirs, and sung in a Gospel band. She has spent many wonderful hours reading to her grandchildren in fun voices that have delighted and amused.
Cara studied three years as a vocal student and has an Associate Degree in Music. In addition, she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Master's in Early Childhood Development. Cara has recently been cast as the voice of Nancy for a senior film at Stephens College, Once Crazy. She resides with her husband in Columbia, Missouri.
